Create a Save and Share a URL Button

Under Installation, scroll down to "Install Save & Share", and select Add, and from the drop down menu that appears select Save & Share a URL. On the next screen titled "Configuration" on the left, you have the ability to name your button, add feature, add a URL, and to leave a brief description of the URL for your clientele.



Under the "Personalization" tab on the left you have the ability to change the default image that represents your button and some other advanced options regarding the dialogue box, user interaction, supported languages, and integration with Google Analytics.



Create a Save and Share an Event Button


To create a new Save & Share an Event button, you need to click on Installation, scroll down to "Install Save & Share", click Add , the select the Save & Share Event option. On the next screen under the heading "Configuration" on the left, you have options to customize the name, features, event specific information, and GPS coordinates of you button.



Under the "Personalization" section on the left side you have even more customization options for the image that shows up as your button and more advanced options such as dialog box information, user interaction, supported languages, and integration with Google Analytics.



Create a Save and Share an Address Button


To create a new Save & Share an Address button, you need to click on Installation, scroll down to the "Install Save & Share" section, select Add, and select Save & Share an Address. On the next screen under the "Configuration" section on the left you have options for your button to assign a name, enable feature, info to share to clients, and GPS coordinates.



Under the "Personalization" section on the left you have further options to assign a different image to your button and more advanced options regarding a dialog box, a personal message, supported languages, and integration with Google Analytics.



Send by SMS



The Send By SMS feature is available for all of the Save & Share buttons. To activate it, go to Installation, scroll down to the "Save & Share" section, click Add, select whichever button you would like to enable the SMS feature for, find the "Select your button's features" section, then check the “Send By SMS” option.


*You need to have communication credits on your account for this option to work. For every SMS that is sent, a $0.10 fee will be deducted from you communication credits.


To see how many communication credits you have left, click on your  account in the upper right hand corner then "Payment and Budget". Toward the top right corner under the “Your communication Credits” section, your current balance of Communication Credits will be shown.


Save to GPS


The Save to GPS option is only available for the Save & Share an Event and the Save & Share an Address buttons. To activate it, go to Installation, scroll down to the "Save & Share" section, click Add, select whichever button you would like to enable the Save to GPS feature for, find the "Select your button's features" section, then check the “Save to GPS” option.



The user can save the Event or Address coordinates (latitude and longitude). There are 4 formats for the coordinates

  • TomTom
  • Garmin: The user needs to have the Garmin plugin installed on his computer. With it, He’ll be able to save the coordinates to his Garmin GPS.
  • iPhone / iPad: This will allow the user to send himself an email with the google maps URL of the location. From an iPhone/iPad, the click on the link will open with the maps application which can work as a GPS to get to the place.
  • Android: This will allow the user to send himself an email with the google maps URL of the location. From an Android phone or tablet, the click on the link will open with the maps application which can work as a GPS to get to the place.

Social Networks: The Social Networks feature is available for the 3 types of Save & Share buttons. To activate it, check the “Social Networks”option. It will allow the user to save the URL, Event or Address to the following Social Networks: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, bebo, StumbleUpon, MySpace, Digg, Del.icio.us, LinkedIn, Evernote, Xing.
