Creating a Call Tracking Number
To create a new call tracking number navigate to the Installation menu, scroll down to the "Call Tracking" section, and click Create New.
On the next screen select the country of the number, and enter the name and address of your company. If you want a toll free number select "Toll Free Number", for a local number select "local number" and enter an are code on the blank to the right.
After a number type is selected a list of numbers will be generated in the box below; select the number you would like and click Order a number.
Setting a Destination Number
To tell your call tracking number what phone number you would like to answer a call on, navigate to the Installation menu, scroll down to the desired call tracking number, click Edit, and click Configuration on the left side of the screen. Near the top the re will be a section titled "Destination phone number - Extension:", in the field below enter the phone number and the extension (if there is on) that you would like to receive calls on.
Missed Call Notifications
To receive missed call notifications navigate to the Installation menu, scroll down to the desired call tracking number, click Edit, and click Configuration on the left side of the screen. Scroll down to the section titled "Missed call notifications", here you have two options, to receive notifications by email (the email associated with the account will be set by default) or to receive text message notifications.
Call Recording
To enable call recording on your call tracking number navigate to the Installation menu, scroll down to the desired call tracking number, click Edit, and click Configuration on the left side of the screen. Scroll down to the "Call Recording" section, check the top box, review the terms and conditions, and check the second box agreeing to the terms and conditions and the privacy policy. You also have the option to change the recording that plays when the client makes or a business receives the call disclosing call recording. Usage Notifications
To enable usage notifications navigate to the Installation menu, scroll down to the desired call tracking number, click Edit, and click Configuration on the left side of the screen. In the first field you can enter the number of minutes in a calendar month that will send a notification email to the address in the second field.
Deactivation
To deactivate a call tracking number navigate to the Installation menu, scroll down to the desired call tracking number, click Edit, and click Configuration on the left side of the screen. Scroll down to the "Deactivation" section and select "Yes". Under the dropdown menu below, you can select an audio message to be played when someone calls the deactivated call tracking number.
Adding Additional Information
To add information to your call tracking number navigate to the Installation menu, scroll down to the desired call tracking number, click Edit, and click Information on the left side of the screen. Here you have the ability to add important organizational info such as what type of media the button is published on, where the button is being published, and the date range the call tracking number will be used in.
