Access Rights in the Event Module

Modified on Wed, 9 Apr at 1:40 PM

In Agendize, event management depends on the access rights assigned to each user. These rights vary depending on the type of event (Global, Network, Multi-location, or Local) and your account structure (main account and associated locations).

Types of Rights

1. Global Rights (only valid for Global events)

These permissions allow centralized management of events not linked to a specific location.

RoleAllowed Actions
Global Administrator- Create all types of events: Global, Network, Multi-location, Local
- Fully manage global events and sessions
 - ⚠️ Once a location is assigned to a multi or local event, it can no longer be changed
Global Planner- Create sessions for global events only
Global Viewer- View global events
 - Export the list of participants from sessions

2. Location-Specific Rights (for Local, Multi-location, or Network events)

These rights apply to one or more locations, depending on the event structure.

RoleAllowed Actions
Event Administrator- Create and manage events linked to their assigned locations
 - Manage sessions
Event Planner- Create sessions for events linked to their assigned locations
Event Viewer- View events and sessions

Event Types Overview

  • Global Event: Not tied to any specific location, available across the entire account.

  • Network Event: Each location can create its own sessions; new locations are automatically linked.

  • Multi-location Event: Only selected locations (chosen during creation) can manage sessions.

  • Local Event: Managed by a single location.
