Event Notifications via Custom Workflows

Modified on Wed, 9 Apr at 4:35 PM

In Agendize, beyond native notifications, you can configure custom workflows to automate actions based on specific event-related triggers (such as registrations or session start/end).

These workflows are managed in a separate module and follow a simple logic:
➡️ TriggerAction (optional delay)

Available Triggers (Event-related)

A workflow can be triggered when one of the following event-related actions occurs:

  • New registration to an event’s waiting list

  • Cancellation of an event registration

  • New registration to an event

  • A session starts

  • A session ends

⚙️ Available Actions

After a trigger is activated, one or more of the following actions can be executed:

  • Send an email to the client

  • Add a tag to the client

  • Send an SMS to the client

  • Send a watch

  • Send an email to the staff member (intervenant)

⏱️ Delayed Actions

Each action can be executed after a specific delay:

  • Toggle "Add a delay"

  • Set a time value (e.g., 1) and a unit (minutes, hours, days)

  • The action will be executed after the configured delay from the trigger event

Examples of usage:

  • Send an email reminder 1 day before a session

  • Send a thank-you SMS after an event ends

  • Notify a watcher immediately upon a new registration
